I recently posted a recipe for gluten free gochujang after visiting South Korea. I adore South Korea so much but I can’t deny it is a difficult place to find a meal for those who are gluten free, vegetarian or vegan (or a combination of!)

Gochujang is traditionally made with barley and other gluten containing ingredients. It’s also made with gochugaru (Korean red chilli flakes) which are high FODMAP in small quantities. With these two factors in mind, I set out to make a cheats low FODMAP and gluten free version.
